Feature Article: Who is On
Your Success Team?
In both my personal and business life, I have experienced the benefits
of having a success team. What is a success team? A team of
people with whom you have individual agreements to contribute to each
other's success.
Who is on a success team? Whomever you want! Here's
an example -- my business success team is currently comprised of my
clients, coach, virtual assistant, workshop/business partner, business
/ marketing / public relations consultants, web designer as well as
other friends and
colleagues. My personal success team is comprised of my life
partner, other family and friends who provide unconditional love and
support, holistic healer, massage therapist and others.
All of the above people contribute to my success in
different ways, just as I contribute to their successes. It's a
win-win for all!
It's a good idea to periodically review your success team(s) and see
where they are working well, as well as where the gaps might be.
My success teams change and evolve over time, based on my needs and
their needs.
The point is that in order for all of us to be successful, we rely on
others to help us along the way. And, we can do it in a way that
allows us to help others be more successful, too!
Questions for
you to consider:
- How do YOU define a success team (business
and/or personal)?
- Who is already on your success team, and what
role does each member play?
- How do you give value back to each member on
your team(s)?
- Who is missing on your success team(s)?
My challenge to you: Determine 2 roles that are missing on your
success team(s) and add those people to your team(s) by May 31!
Will you do that?
To ensure your success, consider asking someone to help hold you
accountable to this challenge. Forward this e-mail to a friend or
colleague today and ask that person to hold you accountable to the
